So I've been doing some HST (Hypertrophy-Specific Training) research and it looks interesting. Basically it's a low rep, high intensity, full body workout 3 times a week (with at least a day rest between each workout). I technically already attempted a form of this with Ripptoes/5x5. However, I think I'm a little past those stages by now (maybe not 5x5, but I don't overly enjoy it).

Don't anabolic steroids cause Hypertrophy? It's the actually expansion and size increase of cells. I would assume that if you've already gained a decent amount from anabolic's then lost an amount, you would have to gain primarily muscle memory, then begin to induce new Hypertrophy.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding mind you, but it seems like that.

uh, yeah, me either.
Just lift 80/90% max on muscle groups every 48 hours (I Squatted, dead, row, bench, pullup/dip, military press). Low rep, high intensity while reving the weight from week to week. Mon-wed-fri. Also, eat big. Signs of Hypertrophy in two months.
